CYFEIRIAD POST = POSTAL ADDRESS
POSTAL
ADDRESS

If the name of the village, district or town has been entered as part of the postal address, this can be found in the lists of place names within each county, which are in the accompanying section for "Birthplaces in Wales".

To help decipher the address within the village, etc, the following table should be helpful. Bear in mind that names of streets and houses, etc (like place names) are often descriptive and therefore contain adjectives, which in Welsh Grammar follow nouns instead of preceding them. So 'High Street' in Welsh isn't "Mawr Heol" (literally 'great','big', or 'large' Street) but "Heol Fawr" (the 'M' having mutated to 'F').
